Just a boy trying to make it in the big city...

Well...okay. "Boy" is a lose term. Most of this part of the site is about what I do and how I make a living. This page is really more devoted to how I make a life. It has taken me a bit of time, but I don't live to work; I work to live.

Below are some of the things that I am passionate about, that interest me, or that I enjoy doing. Some of them link to other pages; most do not.

I'm married to a great guy. I'm the extrovert of the family so that's all you get to know about him.

I love to travel. We try to take a trip-of-a-lifetime every 12-18 months. I usually document them on Facebook.

I cook. A lot. Seriously, a lot. It is an important creative outlet for me. There would probably be a bell tower on the house if I didn't have a loaf of bread rising someplace.

I am also fond of wine, beer and spirits. Because of a job I had once upon a time as a wine buyer, I'm pretty good at pairing wine with food.

Anything that get's me outdoors is preferable. Especially if it involves water. I'll be okay if I never see a conference room again.

I'm an amateur architect. I've designed several houses and remodeling projects for friends.

I have a passion for theater and music that other people reserve for religious fanaticism.
